Not all eyebrows are made equal, when you come to Ivy Reign, your eyebrows will be treated individually. We take care to make sure we’re laminating your brows just enough — without overdoing it.

What’s the difference between traditional brow lamination vs Healthy Brow Lamination™?
IVY REIGN’s Healthy Brow Lamination™ was designed to address one pain point: the damaging effects often associated with Traditional Brow Lamination. This damage manifests physically in brows appearing dry, frayed, and curly.
After extensive education, we discovered that these damaging effects were caused by a mixture of a few elements.
- A harsh lifting ingredient known as Thioglycolic acid. This ingredient, responsible for reshaping brows, works rapidly but damages their structure.
- The lack of higher education in the brow lamination industry is one of the biggest issues contributing to this problem. Artists who do not have a sufficient understanding of the science behind brow lamination are known to create inconsistent results and damage.
Result: Clients who pay hundreds of dollars with the intention of getting beautiful brows have had to walk away with inconsistent and damaged results…

How do I prep for a Healthy Brow Lamination?
Avoid using exfoliants, retinoids, or AHAs around your eyebrows for one to two weeks before your appointment if your skin is sensitive
Avoid tweezing at least one week before your appointment
Please come to your appointment without any makeup

What are my aftercare instructions for a Healthy Brow Lamination?
Don’t get your eyebrows wet & avoid steam for the first 24 hours – This will undo the lamination process.
Brush & style brows morning and night for best results.
Apply a small amount of aftercare peptide balm every night or if brows feel dryer than usual after brushing them in place
*Contraindication* Who may not be suitable to get a Healthy Brow Lamination?
Below, are some common contraindications that may make Healthy Brow Lamination unsuitable for you. Clients are advised to make their own educated judgement to see if the treatment is suitable for them before booking.
Recent Brow Lamination: If you have recently had a brow lamination elsewhere & your lashes, and brows appear to be dry, frazzled & damaged, Healthy Brow Lamination is not suitable for you. It is best to come in after your lashes are back to their natural state.
For returning Ivy Reign clients, it is crucial that you wait at least 8 weeks before coming in for your Healthy Brow Lamination.
Pregnancy: High hormone levels present in pregnancy can create an elevated level of sensitivity which may cause an adverse reaction.
Sunburnt skin around the brows: Healthy Brow Lamination is not suitable for clients that have been sun burnt in the last 7 days because the skin is compromised. Solutions used while laminating may cause an adverse reaction.
Acne Medication – Oral in the last 12 months or Topical (around the brows) in the last 2 weeks: Healthy Brow Lamination is not suitable for clients that are on acne medication as these medications can weaken the skin. Solutions used while laminating may cause an adverse reaction.
Chemical peel or Skin Needling in Last 7 days: Healthy Brow Lamination is not suitable for clients that have had a chemical peel, skin lasers or skin needling in the last 7 days as these skin treatments disrupt the skin barrier and can make the skin sensitive, so it is best to wait at least 7 days prior to waxing & laminating.
Skincare that contains Salicylic, Glycolic, AHA, Retin A – Last 48 hours: Healthy Brow Lamination may not be suitable for clients who are using skincare that contain salicylic acid, glycolic acid, Retin A or alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA) as these ingredients can make the skin sensitive therefore waxing & laminating the brows can have an adverse reaction. However, skin that has been exposed to these skincare ingredients may have built a tolerance to them therefore making it low risk to get a Healthy Brow Lamination.
On a Menstruation cycle: Menstruation does not prevent you from laminating & waxing, however, your skin may be more sensitive.
Psoriasis, Eczema and or Acne in the brow area: Lamination may not be suitable if psoriasis, eczema or active acne on the brow area because solutions & wax may irritate the skin when waxing, however, extra precaution can be taken to continue with service.
Allergic to tint/dye: Healthy Brow Lamination is suitable for clients who have previously had a reaction to any tint/dye. However, you can opt out of the tint/dye or do a patch test of tint/dye with us, as products can differ from salon to salon, and you may not react to our products. Please come in 20 minutes early and ask our friendly team if you would like a patch test.
Recent operation in the treatment area: Healthy Brow Lamination is not suitable for anyone who has recently had a operation in the brow area as the lamination solutions, Waxing and tinting can cause a severe reaction to the area, however we can continue with treatment if provided with a Doctor’s written notice.

Besties! We understand that sometimes life can be unpredictable & we will be understanding wherever we can. However, we must take care of ourselves too! ☺️
Please be sure to carefully read our booking policies to avoid any surprises.
⋆ 50% of the total appointment cost is required to secure your appointment at IVY REIGN.
⋆ Cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment, or don’t show up? 100% of the booking fee will be charged.
⋆ Deposits are non-refundable and not transferable to a service less in value than the original booking.
⋆ Sometimes, unpredictable things happen to us, too! So, we might need to switch your preferred team member with another talented beauty artist occasionally. I hope that’s cool.
⋆ Make sure to check our website for any contraindications for your service. If you miss this and we can’t proceed, we’ll have to charge the total booking fee.
⋆ Booking something you already have included your treatment? We’ll have to charge for the additional time booked.
⋆ Running late? There may be late fees to cover our team to stay back or offer an alternative treatment to fit within the available time frame.
⋆ Over 30 minutes late? We might have to say no to your service.
⋆ 25% fees on public holidays and Sundays.
