Brow threading plucks hairs individually for precise shaping.
Brow sculpt (at Ivy Reign Perth) combines waxing, threading, and dye for full, defined brows.
How should I prepare for a brow wax, threading or sculpting appointment in Perth?
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin around your brows. Avoid retinol, exfoliants, or acne meds for 2–5 days before. Gently exfoliate the night before to help tint adhere, and skip tanning or active skincare near the brows.
How long does the brow dye last?
On the skin, brow dye can last 1–4 days, depending on your skin type, oiliness, and care. On the brow hairs, it typically lasts 4–6 weeks. We always customize the depth and color of the dye to suit your features and desired definition.
Are brow waxing, threading, and brow sculpting safe for everyone? What should I avoid?
Yes, these treatments are safe for most people. However, avoid them if you’re on oral acne medication (within 12 months), used topical acne meds or retinol in the last 2 weeks, had skin needling/peels/lasers in the last 7 days, or have eczema, flaking, or irritation near the brows. If you’ve reacted to tint or dye before, book a patch test 48+ hours in advance. We can also tweeze or thread instead of wax if needed.
How often should I schedule brow waxing, threading or brow sculpting treatments?
Brow waxing and threading are typically done every 3–6 weeks, depending on your hair growth. Brow sculpting, which may include tinting and shaping, is usually recommended every 4–6 weeks to maintain the perfect brows.
Is brow sculpting suitable for all brow types? What aftercare should I follow?
Yes, brow sculpting works for all brow types—sparse, thick, or unruly. For best results, avoid water, makeup, and steam for 24 hours. Apply brow gel daily to maintain shape, skip exfoliants or harsh cleansing near the area, and ask us about our recommended brow styling products to keep your brows looking their best.
What add-ons are available with this service?
You can enhance your brow waxing, threading and brow sculpting with a lip wax, chin wax, peach fuzz removal, or a de-puffing under-eye mask. Add-ons can be selected when booking online or requested in-studio.
What is your booking, cancellation & no-show policy?
IVY REIGN Booking Policy
We want your experience with us to feel effortless, clear and respectful from the moment you book to the moment you leave glowing. These simple guidelines keep everything smooth for you and our team.
Deposits
To lock in your spot, we ask for a 50% deposit.
• It keeps your appointment safe and ensures our family is looked after.
• Cancel with more than 48 hours’ notice and your deposit becomes store credit for next time.
Cancellations & No-Shows
Things come up, we understand.
• Less than 48 hours’ notice or no-show: The full fee applies.
• Illness or emergencies: Pay the original fee and we will happily reschedule you once at no extra cost.
This way your artist’s time is honoured and you are supported with flexibility.
Running Late
• A 5-minute grace period is always fine.
• More than 5 minutes, we may shorten your service or apply a small late fee.
• More than 30 minutes late counts as a no-show with the full fee applying.
It is all about keeping the day flowing fairly for everyone.
Changing Artists
If your chosen artist is not available, another team member may step in.
• If you have specifically requested someone, we will always check with you first.
• Every IVY REIGN artist is trained to deliver the same care, detail and results.
Safety First
Before booking, please review our contraindications online (such as recent skin treatments, sensitivities, or eye conditions). If we cannot proceed because of something missed, the full fee still applies as that time was reserved for you.
Add-Ons
If you book an extra that is already included in your main service, we will adjust the fee since each slot is carefully reserved.
